British intelligence confirms defeat of S-400 Triumph in occupied Crimea

British intelligence has confirmed a successful strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against a Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system in occupied Crimea.

According to the UK Ministry of Defense in its review of December 9, Ukrainian forces destroyed elements of the Russian S-400 air defense system near Simferopol.

The incident took place on November 29, 2024. Recorded images show two large craters with a diameter of approximately 13.5 meters, scattered debris, and five emergency vehicles.

Earlier, social media reported an explosion and subsequent detonation of rocket fuel in the village of Kurganne, located in the Simferopol district.
