The bodies of 503 fallen Ukrainian defenders have been returned to the government-controlled territory, according to the Coordination Center for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
Among the returned fallen defenders of Ukraine:
- 403 from the Donetsk sector;
- 12 from the Luhansk sector;
- 57 from the Zaporizhzhya sector;
- 31 dead were returned from morgues in Russia.
“Together with the expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the victims will be identified as soon as possible,” the headquarters noted.
