The Russian military is currently capable of launching 77 ballistic missiles simultaneously, but plans to increase such a salvo to 200. Ukraine, meanwhile, is experiencing a shortage of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems.

Robert “Madyar” Brovdi said this in an interview with the Associated Press.

Brovdi noted that such a prospect poses a serious threat to Ukraine because of a shortage of interceptor missiles for the U.S.-made Patriot systems.

“Even if they manage only half of that, all of it will be flying at us,” Brovdi said.

According to him, the only way to reduce the number of such missiles is to strike all facilities involved in their production. In this context, Brovdi stressed the importance of Ukrainian long-range strikes deep inside Russian territory.

Madyar also said that in recent weeks the number of jet-powered “Shahed” drones, which are significantly harder for Ukraine to shoot down, has increased 2.5-fold.
