In Zaporizhzhia, efforts to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike with North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon missiles and guided aerial bombs have been ongoing since the night. Six people were killed and another 19 were injured.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on August 11.

According to him, the attack was calculated to cause maximum damage to civilian infrastructure. Rescuers continue to extinguish a fire at one of the impact sites.

In Kyiv, a missile strike damaged the building of an infectious diseases hospital and enterprises.

There were also strikes on substations in Kherson and Kharkiv during the night, causing power outages. All services are working to restore electricity supply.

Russian forces also struck the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions. In addition to missiles, more than 120 drones were used against Ukraine, most of them jet-powered Shaheds.

“Every step by Russia — increasing ballistic missile production, involving North Korean systems, preparing mobilization — all of this shows that Moscow is preparing not for peace, but for escalation. And the world needs to respond now, not wait,” the statement said.

He called for stronger sanctions pressure on enterprises working for Russia’s war, as well as increased assistance to Ukraine in the field of air defense.
