Russian troops continue their assaults in eastern and southern Ukraine, but the Defence Forces are holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the invaders.

Since the beginning of the day, 74 combat engagements have taken place. The fiercest fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy made 35 attacks, 29 of which were repelled. The enemy also became more active in the Liman, Siversk, Toretsk and Kupyansk sectors, but our troops are giving a worthy fight everywhere.
The border settlements of Sumy region continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. Krasnopillya, Petrushivka, Turya and other villages have been hit by aircraft.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions at the Kharkiv and Prydniprovskyi directions.
Ukrainian defence forces continue to deter Russian aggression, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment.
