59 UAVs shot down over Ukraine

The occupiers launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of 21 October. 59 drones were shot down by air defence forces.

This was reported by the Air Force on Telegram.

As of 09:30, the Air Force’s radio engineering troops detected 119 enemy air attack vehicles, including one Iskander-M ballistic missile, two X-31P and X-35 guided missiles, and 116 enemy UAVs launched from Russian territory. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups.

It has been confirmed that 59 enemy UAVs were shot down in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.

45 Russian drones were lost in the area. There have been several UAV hits on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

Up to 10 enemy UAVs still remain in Ukrainian airspace. Combat operations are ongoing.
