President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a Ukrainian enterprise producing interceptor drones and voiced a clear task for the industry – to ensure the daily use of at least a thousand such drones.
This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The Head of State talked with drone manufacturers and saw how protection for Ukrainian cities and villages is being produced.
“I set such a task at Stavka – I met with representatives of this production and with other manufacturers. Our request is 1,000 interceptors per day,” Zelenskyy said.
According to the president, the government is already working on the necessary contracting, and is also conducting a constant dialogue with international partners to avoid a funding deficit. The president emphasized that Ukraine’s production potential is part of the overall strength of the European community.
