President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the microelectronics plant “Group Kremniy El” in Bryansk, Russia, was hit. According to him, the facility produced control systems for various types of Russian missiles.
As reported by ASTRA, a series of explosions was heard in Bryansk on March 10, after which smoke rose over the city’s Sovetsky district. Shortly before that, Bryansk region governor Alexander Bogomaz warned of a missile threat.
An OSINT analysis by ASTRA based on eyewitness videos indicated that the microelectronics plant “Group Kremniy El” was likely targeted. The facility is one of the major microelectronics producers in Russia.
The plant manufactures integrated circuits, diodes, transistors and other semiconductor components used in military equipment, including missile systems, air defense systems and drones.
During a conversation with journalists, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the strike on the enterprise. According to him, the Bryansk plant produced control systems for all types of Russian missiles.
“By the way, while I was answering your questions, Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi called me during the break. He told me about an operation that has just taken place — successfully. The Bryansk plant was hit. This plant produced control systems for all types of missiles of the Russian Federation,” Zelenskyy said.
