President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia continues its daily terror against Ukraine, and the international community has yet to exert enough pressure on the aggressor. He shared this in a post on Facebook.
According to the president, Russia launched ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv overnight and used attack drones against Kyiv region. Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions also came under fire.
“The number of air attacks is increasing. This is how Russia shows its true intentions – to continue the terror as long as the world allows it,” Zelensky emphasized.
He added that over the past week, Russian forces launched more than 1,460 guided aerial bombs, nearly 670 attack drones, and over 30 missiles of various types on Ukrainian cities – with more than 20 of those missiles fired just last night.
The president extended his condolences to the families of the victims and thanked all Ukrainian emergency services helping and saving people.
“These attacks are Putin’s response to all international diplomatic efforts. Every partner – America, all of Europe, the entire world – can now see that Russia plans to keep fighting and killing,” Zelensky said. He called for increased pressure on Russia and urged the international community to focus all efforts on ensuring security and bringing peace closer.
