Ukraine’s Defense Forces have again struck the Dubna space communications center in Russia’s Moscow region. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the facility was used, among other things, for intelligence and coordination of Russian occupation forces operating in Ukraine.

Zelensky described the strike on Dubna as part of Ukraine’s “long-range sanctions” against Russia for its war.

“Today, our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war again reached the Dubna space communications center in the Moscow region,” the president said.

According to him, Dubna is a special satellite communications facility. Russia used it, in particular, for intelligence and for coordinating the activity of its occupation contingent on Ukrainian territory.

Zelensky said the facility is located more than 500 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

He also recalled that Ukraine’s Defense Forces had recently struck four similar Russian centers — not only in the Moscow region, but also in the Vladimir region.

“We are step by step implementing our plan of long-range sanctions and making it as difficult as possible for the aggressor state to conduct its invasion operations against Ukraine and occupy our territories,” Zelensky said.

According to the president, Ukraine is preparing corresponding actions against other similar Russian facilities as well.

Zelensky thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their precision.
