“As a lawyer with over 30 years of experience, I have always been guided by the law. And now I will defend my rights, my name, and my reputation exclusively within the framework of Ukrainian law. I am open to all procedural actions,” he noted.

Yermak also spoke of “unprecedented public pressure” on law enforcement agencies in recent months demanding that a notice of suspicion be filed against him.

“I am convinced that the investigation must be independent of political statements, media campaigns, or any other forms of influence,” the statement reads.

Yermak also announced that he is remaining in Ukraine and will continue his legal practice. According to him, he plans to visit troops on the front lines, address their requests, and support defenders, former prisoners of war, and their families.
