The Ukrainian national sambo team won eight medals at the World Championships held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The information was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Ukrainian athletes claimed two gold and six bronze medals across the sport and combat divisions. Vladyslav Rudniev became a six-time world champion, earning gold in the 79 kg combat sambo category.
