NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov said a new wave of fraudulent messages sent in his name is targeting Ukraine’s international partners. According to him, Baltic countries have become one of the latest targets.
Umerov announced this on social media.
According to the NSDC secretary, unidentified individuals are using his name in scam messages and other suspicious communications in an attempt to initiate contact or obtain information.
Umerov stressed that all official communication with international partners is conducted exclusively through official channels.
“I ask everyone to pay close attention to any suspicious messages and verify their authenticity,” he said.
He also urged recipients of such messages or calls to contact the Office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for clarification and verification.
