Ukraine has received the second batch of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed of the arrival of the second batch of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark. The Head of State expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, her team and the people of Denmark for supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.

‘This is leadership in the protection of life that distinguishes Denmark. The first batch of planes provided by the Danes are already shooting down Russian missiles and saving our people and our infrastructure. Now our air shield has been further strengthened,’ Zelenskyy said.

The President stressed that if all international partners demonstrated the same determination, it would make Russian terror impossible.

The arrival of F-16 fighter jets is an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s air defence and defence against Russian missile attacks.
