On the night of January 21, a series of explosions rocked the village of Nova Adygeya, which borders the Krasnodar Territory, followed by a fire in a residential building. Local residents recorded the moment when a Russian air defense missile was launched, which, instead of intercepting the target, hit a high-rise building.

This was reported by the Telegram channels Astra and Exilenova+.

Local authorities initially reported the “arrival of a UAV,” which resulted in at least eight people being injured, including a child.

According to analysts, a Russian air defense missile could have hit the residential building. The published footage shows the flight path and the direct hit of the missile on the building.

Some Z-channels initially followed the regional governor in claiming that the building had been attacked by Ukrainian UAVs, but when eyewitness footage of the missile appeared, they changed their rhetoric: now, according to their version, the building was hit by a Ukrainian long-range Flamingo missile.

Official services have not yet released detailed information about the causes of the incident and the exact extent of the damage.
