At the European Modern Pentathlon Championships taking place in Alanya, Turkey, the Ukrainian national team added another medal to its tally. According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Roman Popov and Danylo Sych won silver in the junior men’s biathle relay — a new pentathlon discipline that combines swimming and running.
The ministry congratulated the athletes and their coaches, noting that the competition will continue until November 9, with Ukrainian athletes still competing for more medals at the continental championship.
