Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the Maykop military airfield in Russia’s Republic of Adygea. They also confirmed the results of a strike on the Russian defense industry enterprise Kremniy El in Bryansk.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the strike on the infrastructure of the Maykop airfield was carried out as part of efforts to counter the use of the enemy’s operational-tactical aviation. According to preliminary information, infrastructure facilities at the airfield were hit.
The General Staff also уточнив the results of the strike on the Russian military-industrial complex enterprise Kremniy El in Bryansk.
In particular, the main production building of the plant was hit. It produces integrated microchips used in ballistic, cruise and anti-aircraft missiles of various types.
As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the facility covering about 1,000 square meters, followed by the collapse of the roof of the production building.
A warehouse used for storing components for microchip production was also hit. The fire there covered an area of about 400 square meters.
According to the General Staff, production at the plant has been halted for approximately six months.
