        Ukrainian Armed Forces strike Tuapse oil refinery and Russian air defense facilities

        During the night of May 27, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Tuapsinsky oil refinery in the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

        According to the military, a fire and heavy smoke were recorded at the facility. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

        The General Staff noted that the Tuapsinsky refinery is one of the largest oil-processing facilities in southern Russia, with a refining capacity of about 12 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces fuel, including supplies for the Russian military.

        Units of the Ukrainian Air Force also used Storm Shadow air-launched missiles to strike software and hardware intelligence automation systems of the Russian Air Force near Voronezh, Taganrog, and Sevastopol.

        In addition, Ukrainian forces struck command posts of Russian troops near the settlements of Tsvitni Pisky and Sorokyne in the Luhansk region.

        According to the General Staff, a logistics warehouse in Sorokyne and a drone production facility near Azovske in the Zaporizhzhia region were also hit.

        Among other targets, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a Nebo-SV radar station near Kamianka and a command-and-staff vehicle of the Buk-M2 air defense system near Kadiivka in the Luhansk region.
