The 1113th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From March 11 to 12, 259 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The greatest activity of the invaders is observed in the Liman and Pokrovsk directions, as well as in the Kursk region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using two missiles, as well as 74 air strikes, dropping 116 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand attacks, including 156 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,285 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Veterynne in the Kharkiv region;
- Chasiv Yar, Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Zvirove, Hrodivka, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi in Donetsk region;
- Novopil, Gulyaypole, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Korsunka, Virivka, Matrosivka, Burgunka in Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy conducted eight offensives in the direction of Hlyboke and Vovchansk yesterday.
In the Kupyansk sector, 13 occupants’ attacks took place. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Nova Kruhlyakivka, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Bohuslavka and Zahryzove.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 33 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Yampolivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Seversky sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the occupation forces near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, 14 firefights were registered in the areas of Mayske, Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 32 attacks near the localities of Bila Hora, Diliyivka, Dachne, Druzhba, Kurdyumivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 68 aggressor attacks in the areas of Novotoretske, Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zelene, Zvirove, Leontovychi, Serhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Oleksiivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyarivka, Ulakly and Andriivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaipil, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy tried to break through 18 times in vain near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, Skudne, Vilne Pole and Burlatske.
In the Huliaipil sector, 15 firefights took place in the vicinity of Zelene Pole, Novosilka and Novopil.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy conducted nine offensives in the areas of Novodanilivka, Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Shcherbaki, Kamianske and Lobkove.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy attacked twice toward the positions of Ukrainian defenders, but was unsuccessful.
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 33 attacks by Russian invaders yesterday. In addition, the enemy launched 22 air strikes using 28 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 280 artillery attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.
There were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
