Ukraine plans to mobilize 160,000 more people

The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, has said that more than 160,000 people should be mobilized. This will make it possible to staff the units by more than 80 percent.

He said this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, reports MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.

According to him, a total of 1 million 50 thousand Ukrainians were drafted into the Defense Forces.

Also the Rada voted for the bills on the extension of martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days – until February 7, 2025.
