Zelenskyy described Russia’s monthly military losses as the highest since the start of the full-scale war. He also reported a daily record: according to his figures, the Russian army lost 2,250 personnel on October 21.

The president thanked Ukraine’s defenders, brigades and units for their results.

“We are holding our positions, liberating territory and making every day of the war as costly as possible for the aggressor. To stop these staggering losses, Russia simply needs to choose a ceasefire and diplomacy,” Zelenskyy said.
