Ukraine is counting on Denmark’s support in developing its own solution to counter ballistic threats. The issue was one of the key topics discussed with Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Brøus.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported this.

According to him, the sides discussed next steps to scale up Ukrainian defense technologies, develop anti-ballistic capabilities and attract additional funding for the needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

A separate area of the talks was a European anti-ballistic project. Fedorov stressed that Ukraine expects Denmark’s support in creating its own solution to counter ballistic threats.

Another important issue was scaling up the Drone Deal. Ukraine is ready to share combat experience, data and modern warfare technologies with its partners.

According to Fedorov, this is a mutually beneficial partnership: Ukraine receives more capabilities for the front, while partners gain access to Ukrainian defense innovations.

The sides also agreed to develop joint programs to support defense startups and security technologies.

In addition, the meeting covered the unblocking of €6 billion under the European Peace Facility. These funds could be directed toward the critical needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Fedorov thanked Denmark for its systematic support for Ukraine, including participation in PURL, the Czech initiative and the “Danish model,” the transfer of F-16 fighter jets, flexible reallocation of funding for long-range artillery ammunition, and support for the training of Ukrainian troops.

“We continue to expand partnerships that give Ukraine more technologies, more capabilities and more strength on the battlefield,” Fedorov stressed.
