Ukraine signed a document with Lithuania regarding the joint production of defense products. The agreement includes the launch of joint enterprises, particularly for the manufacturing of long-range drones, the development of Ukrainian companies in Lithuania, and the exchange of technologies.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal.
The signing was attended by Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense, Dovilė Šakalienė. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of industrial cooperation and ways to attract additional funding for the procurement of weapons and the development of Ukraine’s defense industry.
Lithuania confirmed its readiness to continue allocating 0.25% of its GDP for military aid to Ukraine until 2027.
