        In Stuttgart, Germany, two artists from Ukraine fell from a height during a performance at a Christmas circus. The victims were hospitalized, and the police launched an investigation into the incident.

        The incident occurred on January 5 during a daytime performance of the World Christmas Circus at the Cannstatter Wasen fairgrounds in Stuttgart. The pair of artists were performing an Aerial Straps act, during which they work on straps at a height, but both fell and landed in the arena in front of approximately 2,400 spectators.

        The victims were artists from Ukraine — 49-year-old Dmitry and 19-year-old Daria, who perform under the stage name Flight of Passion. According to a circus representative, both were conscious after the fall: the man complained of leg injuries, while the woman complained of back pain.

        The artists were taken by ambulance to different hospitals. The police reported serious injuries and are investigating the causes of the fall. After a break, the circus program continued.
