        Three people were killed and seven more injured during heavy Russian shelling in Donetsk region over 24 hours on 5 July, police said. More than 3,500 strikes were recorded along the frontline and in residential areas in a single day.

        Twelve settlements came under fire, including Bilytske, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Myrnohrad, and Pokrovsk. Twenty-six civilian objects were destroyed or damaged, including seven residential houses.

        In Andriivka, Russian forces twice used FPV drones, killing one person and injuring another, while also damaging a school and a shop. The following night, the village was hit again by Geran-2 drones, injuring one person and damaging a house and car.

        In Myrnohrad, an FPV drone killed a civilian, while in Rivne two people were wounded in an attack on a vehicle. In Pokrovsk, one person was injured. Bilytske was hit by strikes on a civilian company vehicle but, according to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

        In Kostiantynivka, Russia dropped a KAB-250 aerial bomb, damaging a business. In Lyman, Uragan MLRS strikes hit an apartment building, private houses, and infrastructure facilities.

        Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are investigating the shelling as war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
