The Varta 2 armoured vehicle has successfully passed all tests and codification procedures and has been approved for delivery to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was announced by Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles, the company that developed the vehicle.
According to the company’s CEO, Vladislav Belbas, the Varta 2 has high mobility, powerful protection and can be equipped with a turret or combat module. These characteristics, he said, make the vehicle particularly effective in modern warfare.
‘In addition to speed and mobility, which are critical on the battlefield, Varta 2 has a high level of protection. Its load capacity allows for the installation of combat modules, giving it unprecedented firepower for this class of vehicle,’ Belbas said.
