As of 16:00 on 1 February 2025, 71 combat engagements took place at the frontline. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions and inflicting losses on the enemy, but the enemy continues to focus its efforts on the Pokrovske, Kupianske, Lyman directions and in the Kursk region.
🔹 Border shelling: Russians continue to terrorise the civilian population. Zaliznyi Mist and Mykolaivka (Chernihiv region), Khlebohorod (Sumy region) came under enemy fire.
🔹 Kupyansk sector: the enemy made 15 attempts to advance, fighting continues in four locations.
🔹 Limanskyi sector: Russians attacked 12 times, Ukrainian troops continue to hold the line in four locations. The enemy also conducted an air strike on Zelenyi Hai.
🔹 Siverskyi sector: three enemy attacks were repelled, one battle is still ongoing.
🔹 Kramatorsk sector: two attacks were repelled, three more battles are ongoing. The enemy is active near Chasovyi Yar and Bila Hora.
🔹 Toretsk sector: five attacks, two firefights are still ongoing.
🔹 Pokrovsk sector: the hottest spot in the frontline. 22 combat engagements in the last day, eight are still ongoing.
🔹 Novopavlivka sector: one attempt to break through in the direction of Kostiantynopil – the enemy was stopped.
🔹 Hulyaypillia sector: Russians attacked in the area of Novosilka, but were repelled.
🔹 Orikhiv sector: two battles are ongoing near Shcherbaky and Nesterianka.
🔹 Kurshchyna: three attacks were repelled, one firefight is ongoing. The enemy carried out seven air strikes, dropping nine guided bombs.
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Kharkiv and Prydniprovskyi sectors.
Ukrainian soldiers continue to deplete the occupiers along the entire front line and in the rear.
