Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko has summed up the first week of the new government’s work and outlined key priorities. She shared the update on social media.

According to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet has identified four main priorities: human dignity, security, economic development, and recovery. One of the top social policy goals, she said, is to ensure timely and high-quality prosthetics for both military personnel and civilians.

Svyrydenko visited Esper Bionics, a Ukrainian company producing advanced bionic prosthetics, and highlighted the need to grow this market. The government plans to launch a grant program to support domestic manufacturers in this field.

“We see that many people are forced to wait for a prosthetic or face poor-quality services. That’s why we’ve tasked the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Health with developing a clear plan to address these issues,” the Prime Minister wrote.

In the defense sector, the government intends to scale up domestic production of explosives. Together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, it launched a new grant competition within the Brave1 initiative. “Our goal is for everything — from equipment to chemicals — to be produced in Ukraine,” Svyrydenko noted.

On the economic front, the government has begun implementing the National Security and Defense Council’s decision to introduce a moratorium on law enforcement inspections of businesses. An audit of all state expenditures is also underway, and plans are in motion to significantly reduce bureaucratic procedures.

Svyrydenko added that she continues holding one-on-one meetings with ministers to develop concrete plans that will form the basis of the Government’s Action Program.
