        Special Operations Forces destroy DPRK platoon in close combat in Kursk region (video)

        Special Operations Forces soldiers destroyed a platoon of DPRK troops during an operation in the Kursk region of Russia.

        During the rapid contact, the Special Operations Forces operators killed 25 North Koreans, the Special Operations Forces Command reports.

        Special forces of the 6th Ranger Regiment went to the enemy’s rear positions in an armoured Humvee. After detecting the enemy unit, the Ukrainian military took up firing positions in the trenches and engaged in close combat with a platoon of North Korean soldiers.

        In total, eight Ukrainian Special Forces took part in the battle against 25 DPRK soldiers. Despite the enemy’s numerical superiority and artillery fire, the Ukrainian military destroyed the enemy unit.

        The Ukrainian Armed Forces stressed that the operation took place last month, but due to operational security, they have only just released the video of the battle.
