Three minutes later, Poltava defender Vadym Pidlepych unsuccessfully attempted to clear the ball inside his own penalty area, allowing Izaka Silva to make it 2-0.

In the 61st minute, Artem Bondarenko assisted Silva, who scored his second goal of the match. Lassina Traore sealed the final 4-0 scoreline in the 67th minute.

With the victory, Shakhtar became unreachable for its rivals with three rounds remaining in the championship.
