The OSINT community DeepState reported that Russian troops again used a gas pipeline to advance their forces, this time in the Kupiansk area.
According to the community, this is the third time the enemy has used this method of movement: the first time was during the fighting in Avdiivka, the second time was near Sudzha. DeepState notes that false reports about the alleged use of such pipes near Pokrovsk were spread online, but the video was actually filmed near Kupiansk.
The Russians have set up an entire logistics artery, the entrances to which are located near Lyman Pershyi. To move inside the pipes, they use special wheeled beds and electric scooters where the height allows. The journey to the outskirts of Kupiansk takes about four days, so there are places to rest and supplies of provisions inside.
Thanks to this, organised groups can reach Radkivka without serious losses, and from there – south, into the enemy-controlled forest. After that, they disperse in Kupiansk and reach the railway.
DeepState notes that the lack of forced evacuation of civilians creates a problem: residents are in the same houses as the enemy, making it difficult to strike these areas. In addition, some locals share food with the Russians.
The community expressed regret that the experience of Avdiivka and Sudzha was not taken into account and hopes that the situation with the gas pipeline will serve as a lesson this time.
