The 1213th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From June 19 to June 20, 176 combat engagements took place at the front. In the Pokrovske sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 52 Russian attacks, in the Liman sector the number of attacks increased to 29, and in the Novopavlivka sector 17 occupants’ attacks were repelled.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched one missile and 55 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using five missiles and dropping 75 guided aerial bombs, and used 2798 kamikaze drones to attack. The enemy also carried out 5062 artillery attacks, including 114 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy carried out air strikes on areas of populated areas:
- Krasny Khutor, Sumy region;
- Novopil, Donetsk region; Olgivske, Zaliznychne, Kamianske, Plavni, Novoandriivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks. In addition, the aggressor carried out eight air strikes using nine combat aircraft, and made 207 attacks, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems.
The South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lymansky and Seversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky sector, enemy troops attacked 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelenyi and Stroyivka.
Two occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault near Stepova Novoselivka.
In the Liman sector, 29 firefights took place. The enemy tried to advance near Novyi Mir, Glushchenkove, Hrekivka, Nadiya, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka and Hryhorivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Daryivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the area of Chasovyi Yar and in the direction of Stupochky, Predtechyne and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops 20 times in the areas of Petrivka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Diliyivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 52 aggressor’s assault attacks in the areas of Poltavka, Myrne, Myroliubivka, Kopteve, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka and Novoukrainka.
Novopavlivske, Prydniprovske, Huliaypillia and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 militants’ attacks in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Perebudova, Bahatyrya, Novosilka and Shevchenko.
In the Huliaipol sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy attack near Malynivka.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, enemy units tried to advance once without success.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Orikhiv sector.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
