Russian troops have once again shelled Naftogaz Group facilities, the Naftogaz press service reports.
This is the eighteenth combined attack on the Group’s infrastructure since the start of the full-scale war and the eighth since the beginning of this year.
There were no casualties. Gas production facilities were damaged.
‘The latest shelling is not just an attack on our infrastructure, but an attempt to undermine the country’s energy stability. Our experts are already working on the aftermath and damage assessment. Restoration will begin immediately to ensure uninterrupted gas supply. I am grateful to the Naftogaz team and all power engineers who prove every day that the Ukrainian energy system is able to withstand any challenges,’ said Roman Chumak, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
