        Russians attack Kharkiv again: there are casualties, including children

        On the night of 12 June, Russian troops carried out another attack on Kharkiv with strike drones. According to the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, at least 11 hits were recorded between 01:37 and 03:08.

        ‘Residential areas, educational institutions, kindergartens, and infrastructure were hit. Dozens of cars were damaged, and windows were broken in schools and houses,’ Terekhov said.

        At least 12 people were injured in the attack, including four children.

        Fires broke out, particularly in schools and residential buildings. In one area, debris fell near a playground.

        ‘Fires broke out in residential buildings and educational institutions. In some cases, debris fell directly near playgrounds. One of the strikes damaged the elevator shaft of a high-rise building, while another destroyed part of a non-residential building and a public transport stop,’ the mayor added.
