Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov has announced plans to complete the seizure of four Ukrainian regions – Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia – by the end of 2025.
“In 2025, Moscow plans to achieve victory in the war in Ukraine,” Belousov said, emphasizing that completing the occupation of these regions is a key task for the Russian army.
He also suggested that Russia should be prepared for a possible military conflict with NATO in Europe over the next decade. Belousov emphasized that the Russian Defense Ministry is preparing for “any development of the situation.”
