        Russian drones strike border crossing with Moldova, forcing temporary closure

        On the night of August 25, the occupiers struck the Vynohradivka — Vulcănești international road border crossing on the border with Moldova with drones. Due to the consequences of the attack, the border crossing is currently not operating.

        This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

        As clarified by the Odesa City Military Administration, the Russians attacked the border crossing with Shahed drones. A fire broke out at the site.

        Traffic through the crossing has been temporarily suspended, and customs formalities are not being carried out.

        “We ask citizens and carriers to take this information into account when planning routes and to choose other operating border crossings to cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. We will provide additional information on the resumption of the border crossing’s operation,” the statement said.
