        Russia strikes Odesa region: two killed, five injured

        On the night of May 3, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, killing two people and injuring others. Residential buildings and port infrastructure were hit.

        According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Олег Кіпер, the enemy continues to strike civilian and port infrastructure in the region, leaving two people dead and five injured. In the Odesa district, drone strikes hit three residential buildings, two more were damaged, and port infrastructure facilities were also affected.

        Fires caused by the attack were extinguished by emergency services. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences, and law enforcement officers are documenting war crimes against civilians.

        The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that a pre-trial investigation has been launched into war crimes that resulted in deaths. Two civilians — a 38-year-old man and woman — were killed. Five local residents were injured: women aged 64 and 72, and men aged 29, 56, and 69; two of them were hospitalized.

        It is noted that five private houses in two settlements were partially destroyed.

        The State Emergency Service уточнила, что three houses in the residential sector were damaged, with parts of the buildings destroyed, windows shattered, and structures affected. One person was killed and three injured there. The port infrastructure was also hit, causing a fire that was quickly extinguished; another person was killed and two injured at that location.

        A total of 83 rescuers and 23 units of equipment were involved in the response, along with members of a voluntary fire brigade.
