Today, January 5, the Bunge oil extraction plant in Dnipro was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. As a result, about 300 tons of oil spilled onto the roadway.

This was reported by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov.

“The Russians bombed American property because the plant belongs to Bunge, a company based in St. Louis, Missouri. As a result of the drone attack, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the roads of Dnipro,” the statement said.

Municipal workers are cleaning up the aftermath of the attack using sand and a mixture. According to Filatov, traffic on the embankment will be blocked for several days.

The Bunge plant in Dnipro processes sunflower seeds with fully integrated processing, refining, and bottling processes.

The company produces Olein sunflower oil, which is popular in Ukraine.
