On the night of Monday, 21 July, Russian occupation forces carried out another massive shelling of Ukraine, using missiles and strike drones.
Explosions were heard in a number of regions. Preliminary reports indicate one fatality and two injuries in Kyiv. The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk also reported on the casualties.
Kyiv
One person was killed in the capital as a result of the attack, according to the State Emergency Service.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris from a UAV caused a fire on the balcony of the first floor of a 10-storey building. One person was injured and another was rescued.
In the Dnipro district, commercial buildings were on fire — the fire covered 500 square metres.
In the Darnytskyi district, fires were reported on the territory of a garage cooperative and in a kindergarten building.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, garages caught fire as a result of falling debris.

Ivano-Frankivsk
According to Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, the city has suffered the most massive attack since the start of the full-scale war.
‘We have damage to infrastructure in three villages of the community. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed. We know that there are casualties in one of the villages of our community. But they are in a mild condition,’ Martsinkiv said.
He noted that the city suffered a combined strike using missiles and ‘suicide drones.’ According to him, there were ‘a lot’ of strikes.
Kharkiv
According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, 11 strikes by attack drones were recorded in Kharkiv.
One of the UAVs hit near a residential building in the Kyiv district. There were no casualties, but a fire broke out.
In some places, the facades of buildings were damaged, windows were broken, and road infrastructure, tram tracks and power lines were destroyed.
