Russia is using ten times more Shahed-type attack UAVs this fall than a year ago, President Vladimir Zelensky said following the results of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

“There was a report by acting Air Force commander Anatoly Krivonozhko on the fight against the means of Russian air terror. Strengthening of air defense in the regions that need it most, development of new solutions in the fight against KABs, strengthening of mobile fire groups,” Zelensky said.

The president also heard reports on the in-house production – shells, weapons, equipment, REB means, drones. The results of contracting for the current year and planning for the next.

“Considered 3-5-year contracts that we offer Ukrainian manufacturers of strategic-level drones. We need a long planning horizon, development and investment for manufacturers,” Zelensky said

There was also a report of Glavkom Oleksandr Syrskyy on the use of such long-range drones, prioritization, planning of operations.
