Units of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through the defensive line of Russian troops on the Oleksandrivskyi direction, the Air Assault Forces Command reported.
According to the military, ground reconnaissance combat groups CG132 of the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps carried out a successful operation during which they managed to break through enemy defensive positions.
During the battle, Ukrainian troops destroyed enemy firing positions, personnel, and ammunition storage sites of the occupiers.
The command noted that the actions of the reconnaissance units disrupted the enemy’s plans for further offensive operations and made it possible to create a foothold for the tactical advance of Ukrainian units in this sector.
