Russia is creating separate troops of unmanned systems, which by 2030 should number up to 210,000 military personnel. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi during a monthly meeting on the development of unmanned systems and electronic warfare.

“I paid special attention to the report of J2 (our intelligence) on the formation of a new kind of troops by the enemy – troops of unmanned systems. We are aware of the enemy’s plans and its specific plans, which envisage 210 thousand servicemen of the Air Defense Forces in 277 military units by 2030,” said Syrskyi.

The Chief of Staff noted that the enemy recognizes the high efficiency of combat use of the Armed Forces units and adopts our best practices.

“We are facing relevant tasks, including asymmetric ones. We will develop, improve, and scale up our achievements in the air defense sector. However, we will act not only with numbers but also with skills,” added Syrskyi.
