Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting with servicemen of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Cornet Leonid Stupnytskyi, which is defending positions in the Oleksandrivskyi direction.
According to the head of state, during the trip he received a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation at the front line. Zelenskyy said that despite the declared ceasefire, Russian troops have not reduced the intensity of assault operations.
The president was also briefed on the operational situation in the defense zone of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade. During the meeting with battalion and company commanders, they discussed issues related to the service of foreigners in the brigade, the development of ground robotic systems, and support for innovation initiatives.
Separately, Zelenskyy said he awarded Ukrainian servicemen with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III class, and the “For Courage” orders of II and III classes.
