        Russia attacks Kyiv with ballistic missiles: buildings damaged, three injured

        On the morning of 6 April, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles at the capital of Ukraine. This was reported by the State Emergency Service. The shelling affected Darnytskyi, Obolonskyi and Solomianskyi districts of Kyiv.

        In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, as well as the destruction of another building and the ignition of three parked cars. The fire was completely extinguished.

        In Obolonskyi district, a fire was reported in a furniture shop with flames spreading to a warehouse. The 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of a business centre were also damaged.

        In Solomenskyi district, some areas of an open area and the facade of a warehouse building were on fire. The fire has been extinguished.

        A total of three people were injured in the attack, two of whom were hospitalised. A total of 128 rescuers and 27 pieces of equipment are involved in the firefighting operations.
