Rescue Operations Completed in Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia: 13 Dead

Emergency rescue operations have concluded in Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia following devastating airstrikes by Russian forces.

Zaporizhzhia:
Overnight, rescue teams finalized their efforts in Zaporizhzhia. According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the attack claimed the lives of 10 people, 8 of whom were inside vehicles at the time of the strike.

The total number of casualties in Zaporizhzhia has risen to 24, including three children: a four-month-old baby, and two others aged 4 and 11.

On 6 December, between 17:57 and 18:05, Russian forces carried out two strikes in Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district.

  • The first strike targeted a residential area, destroying a service station and damaging nearby residential buildings and shops.
  • The second strike hit an open area in the district.

Kryvyi Rih:
In Kryvyi Rih, the body of the third victim was pulled from the rubble during overnight rescue operations. In total, 3 people lost their lives, and 17 others were injured, including one child.

On 6 December, around 16:20, Russian forces launched a rocket attack on an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih. The building was completely destroyed, with nearby houses sustaining damage to windows and roofs. Cars in the area were also vandalized by the explosion.

Emergency rescue operations in both cities are now complete.
