The 1,182nd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. During the day, 177 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. Most of the attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk (72), Novopavlivka (22), and Lyman (23) areas.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy carried out 59 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropped 117 guided bombs, and deployed 2,882 kamikaze drones. The enemy also carried out 5,366 artillery strikes, including 157 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Pigarivka, Sumy region;
- Hulyaypole, Temyrivka, Stepnogorsk, Malynivka, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Kozatsk in Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to advance in the areas of Vovchansk and towards Kutkivka.
Yesterday, there were three attacks by the occupiers in the Kupiansk direction. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Zagryzove and towards Pishchane.
There were 23 clashes in the Lyman direction. The enemy attempted to advance near Yampilivka, Kopanok, Novomykhailivka, Zelenaya Dolyna, Tor, and in the direction of Hluschenkove, Karpivka, Serebryanka, Yampil, Hryhorivka, Novyi Mir, Ridkodub, and Olhivka.
In the Siverskyi direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Verkhniokam’yanske, Bilohorivka, and in the direction of Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, and in the direction of Predtechino.
Over the past day, in the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units 13 times in the areas of Toretsk, Novospaske, in the direction of Diliivka and Ivanopil.
In the Pokrovsk direction, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders stopped 72 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Zvirove, Yelizavetivka, Malynivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Troitske, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, and towards the settlements of Zoria, Novoukrainka, Stara Mykolaivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Nova Poltavka, Popiv Yar, Myrnohrad, and Novomykolaivka.
Novopavlivka, Kursk, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 attacks by invaders in the areas of Konstantynopil, Pryvilne, Rivnopillia, Vilne Pole, and towards Novopil, Bahatyr, and Zeleny Pole.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks in the direction of Mala Tokmachka and near Stepove.
In the Dnipro direction, enemy units attempted to advance once but were unsuccessful.
In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten attacks by invaders over the past day. The enemy also carried out 14 air strikes, using 32 guided bombs, and fired 227 shots, seven of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Huliaipole direction.
No signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
