        Oil pumping station catches fire in Russia’s Volgograd region after drone attack

        Drones attacked an oil pumping station in the settlement of Yefimovka in Russia’s Volgograd region during the night of June 13. The strike was confirmed by the regional administration.

        According to local authorities, air defense forces were allegedly repelling a drone attack on the region. At the same time, a fire broke out at an industrial infrastructure facility in the Kotovsky district after debris fell on the site. Firefighting efforts were still ongoing as of the morning.

        Russian officials also reported that one of the drones crashed in the Shakinskaya Dubrava forest area.

        According to ASTRA, the targeted facility was the oil pumping station in Yefimovka. The site had previously come under attack in October 2025, when a fire also broke out there.

        There is currently no information on the extent of the damage or the possible impact of the attack on the facility’s operations.
