President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched more than 300 attack drones and 37 missiles overnight, many of them ballistic. Energy and civilian infrastructure in several regions came under fire; injuries were reported and emergency crews are working to restore services.

According to Zelensky, targets included infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Sumy and Poltava regions. In Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, a post office was damaged and one person injured. In Kharkiv region, strikes hit critical infrastructure and a State Emergency Service unit, with additional injuries reported. The president said Russia is employing “double terror” — using Shahed drones fitted with cluster munitions and launching repeat strikes aimed at firefighters and energy workers during repairs. He called for increased pressure on Russia through sanctions and long-range capabilities, noting that decisive steps depend on the United States, Europe and other partners. Zelensky added that the momentum toward peace in the Middle East could be replicated in Europe and said he would pursue this in meetings in Washington today and tomorrow.
