“I hope Oleshky serves as a foundation for lasting peace between both nations,” she wrote.

According to Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, both sides honoured their commitments throughout this period. This made it possible to deliver humanitarian aid to Oleshky and assist civilians who wanted to leave the city. Efforts are underway to explore the possibility of continuing similar humanitarian operations.

“It is important to preserve this mechanism of cooperation so that we can continue helping people and saving lives,” Lubinets said.
