        Massive attack on Kyiv and Kyiv region leaves four dead

        On the night of September 1, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region using missiles and strike drones. As of the morning, four people were reported dead: three in the capital and one more in Boryspil.

        This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration and Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.

        Three people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the attack. At least five others were also reported injured.

        Earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration said four people were injured in the Solomianskyi district, including two children. A fire was also reported in a non-residential area of the Dniprovskyi district.

        In the Kyiv region, Boryspil was hit hardest. A five-story residential building was damaged in the attack, while cars caught fire in a nearby parking lot. The fire has already been extinguished.

        Forty-eight people were evacuated from the building. Eight people were reported injured, including a child. All are receiving necessary medical care.

        A business facility in Boryspil was also damaged. One person was killed and another was injured in the strike.

        Rescuers, medics, police officers and other emergency services are working at the affected sites. Information on the consequences of the attack is being updated.
